First of all, assemble all the pieces with straight edges so you can construct the frame; then sort all the other pieces by predominant color which definitely helps the construction process. "My puzzle area is limited so I have appreciated this. I sort in the begining and then can browse a much larger area by using these. The top tray has a lid which helps in my case with a mischievous cat. When I am not working on my puzzle I can both close my puzzle board, close the trays and all is secure. The colors are attractive but I added white paper to fit in the bottoms so that I can see the colors accurately. Sometimes those color subtleties make the difference. I would recommend this set."

I guess my only complaint is that I wish they were all white or clear instead of different colors, but they're still super helpful.
