Don't be fooled by these intricately patterned boxes. Each printed mosaic pattern conceals sliding panels that need to be moved in sequence in order to open the secret compartments. Beautiful to display, but quite a challenge to solve. Made of pine. Solutions included.

"Got four boxes. Two would slide and open nicely; two would not. Once they were opened, filled and closed, the pieces that slide were loose so it was easy for the recipients to see the piece that they needed to move first. We gave these to adults. I think the target audience is middle school age individuals who generally could use a clue to get started."
